22nd April, 2007 - Leading Edges, First Attempt.

|
It was drawing towards the end of the day and Jon Howard had laboriously
cleaned out all the captive nuts which are used to hold the leading edge in
place. With enough bodies on hand it was decided to try and fit the
port-side leading edge.
Due to some slight damage at some point in time, the leading edge had a
tendency to 'jump' off the front edge of the wing every time you tried to
put a bolt in. With tired arms and people getting cranky after being out in
the sun all day - we finally decided it was wise to admit defeat and come
back to this job when we were fresh.
