27th October, 2007 - Inner Starboard Nacelle

Another cracking day as we decided to fit the starboard inner engine nacelle.

With lessons learned fitting the port nacelle, this was much easier than last time around but even with willing helpers Brian Egan, Ken Foster, Jon Howard, Ray Jennings, Brian Walsh and myself - it took all afternoon to get the huge nacelle into place and securely bolted and rivetted.

Often overlooked is the seemingly endless job of removing the old paint from Charlie Fox. This is not a pleasant job but David Lindsey in particular seems to have made this his life's work! Here's David stripping yet more of the old Invicta paint off the fuselage.
