The Jetstream Club was originally formed to preserve and maintain the fourth prototype Jetstream 41 (G-JMAC) built by BAe Systems at Prestwick. G-JMAC is now permanently located on the apron of the old Speke Aerodrome in Liverpool which has been fully refurbished to become the beautiful Marriott Hotel, Liverpool South. In addition to preserving this elegant aircraft, the club is keen to use the aircraft to help educate people about the North-West's aviation heritage and aviation in general. School visits are welcomed by arrangement (12 pupils max) as are other groups for similar activities. To this end we have adopted the slogan "Education in Aviation". For further details, please see the about us page. And don't forget to keep in touch - join our Mailing List! The cockpit of G-JMAC has now been converted into a flight simulator. It is now possible to 'fly' G-JMAC using the aircrafts own flight controls and switchgear. This has been a fairly lengthy process made possible only through the very generous donations of both hardware and software from several vendors. See the simulator page for more information. Sponsors - Without the generosity of our sponsors this project would not be possible. Please do take a moment to visit our sponsors page and if you feel you could help, please do let us know!
